The fierce storm hit the Central West End around 12:25 this afternoon and the strong winds knocked down this large tree in front of Pi on McPherson (at Euclid). Luckily no one was injured.

Metropolitan Sewer District placed a vote to approve bonds to improve 150 year-old wastewater sewer system. Vote yes to keep sewer bills from increasing dramatically starting July 1, rather than gradually over the years.

There was glass all over the sidewalk from the streetlight that was smashed by the tree. But it didn't seem to bother her.
