When we moved a couple of years ago I brought this tree peony with me and dug it into a back corner of our yard until construction was over and I could figure out where its new home would be. It stayed there over a winter and even survived a dig by a Charter crew who had no idea why I was so upset when they buried a cable right under my baby.
It appears to be quite happy this morning.

oh, my goodness, that is spectacular! I love it that you have kept your garden favorites with you from house to house. Great photo too.
